Circular economy

The following educational material is designed to introduce the difference between linear and circular economy. The material explains briefly the reasons why it is necessary to rethink the economy and the main concepts behind how circular economy encourages ways of thinking in sense of possible change.

The material includes:

– An interactive slide show (should be used in full-screen mode)

– A document that presents material for teachers aiming for a 75-90-minute class. This contains different educational tools such as texts, lectures and assignments to engage students in group activities through which they can improve the circular way of thinking in sense of everyday objects. The material is accompanied by PowerPoint presentations and video clips.

– A video clip to explain the idea of circular economy in Water Management in more detail.

This collection is compiled by experts of the Tallinn University of Technology, references are also given when a material is collected from other sources such as Ellen Mac Arthur Foundation and others.
